On January 13th, these young skaters got to see their favorite hockey team from a whole new perspective!

The Lakeville North boys’ varsity hockey team hosted a fun event at Ames Ice Arena. Skate with the Panthers is an annual event hosted by the Panthers where youth hockey players are able to skate with the varsity team.

The young Mite skaters had the opportunity to play in small games and scrimmage the varsity team. The Mites ended the scrimmage with 50-60 as the score

The head coach, Trent Eigner, said a quick message to the parents and players who attended the event. The event was enjoyable for both the players and the parents to watch, and the varsity team got to interact with some of Lakeville’s younger skaters.

Autographed sticks signed by the varsity team and the game pucks were part of the giveaway during this entertaining event!

The event ended with a pizza party in the lobby at Ames and a player autograph session.
